In this year-end review, Ivan outlines short sellers’ focus on EV supply chains and the broader crypto industry, while noting that overall short-selling activity was down a bit from 2021. While the majority of short campaigns came from several household names, there were a few newcomers that appear to carry a very big stick. And after a successful year of targeting the EV space, many are looking to expand their focus to the broader ESG category in 2023.
